WESTMINSTER, Calif. -On January 26, 2024, the Westminster Police Traffic Division completed their preliminary investigation and believe this was not a hit and run traffic collision. Traffic Investigators have contacted and interviewed all involved parties, conducted a thorough analysis of forensic evidence, and found this to be an unfortunate and tragic traffic accident.

WESTMINSTER, Calif. -On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 2:04 AM, Westminster Police responded to a man down in the northbound #2 lane of Beach Blvd., north of Bolsa Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male laying in the street with injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. The Orange County Fire Authority responded and pronounced the subject deceased on scene. Officers spoke to a witness who confirmed the male had been struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.

Members of Westminster Police Department’s Traffic Division were called to the scene and canvassed the area for video and additional witnesses who may assist in identifying the suspect vehicle and driver. No suspects have been located at this time.
