After years of serving on city commissions and being active in other groups in Westminster, Council Member Manzo is looking forward to making a difference on the City Council after being recently elected in 2020 and having served as Vice Mayor in 2022.
Council Member Manzo is humbled to represent the friends, neighbors and fellow residents that voted him into office and plans to represent with honor, respect, and dignity.
Council Member Manzo has a passion for the betterment of the city, having previously served on the Planning Commission for eight years, chairing the commission for two of those years. He and his wife, Lisa, have also been active in their four children and four grandchildren’s school and extracurricular activities, including PTA, the Junior Firefighter program, Westminster PD Explorers and sports, cheerleading, music and drama.
As an electrical supervisor for a residential homebuilder, he has the experience of overseeing a large workforce and coordinating with various businesspeople, including developers, contractors and designers.
He is a big believer in helping businesses survive the economic impacts the pandemic has caused, plus attracting new businesses and developing new streams of revenue. Restoring the city’s financial security and identifying inefficient spending are also a priority.
Council Member Manzo believes he can be a unifier on the City Council for the benefit of the community, and to build a greater trust with residents.
By also focusing on improving public safety and health of the city’s residents, Council Member Manzo believes that quality of life and continuing to provide essential services is an important issue. Keeping our beloved city well maintained and progressing toward social and financial health will give everyone a sense of pride in Westminster.
