The Finance Department is responsible for the fiscal affairs of the City. This includes the handling and investment of cash receipts, and disbursement of all monies, procurement of goods and services, safeguarding the financial assets and records of the City, and preparation of the Budget and Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR).
Mission
To facilitate financial planning for City services and maintain the integrity of the City’s financial assets through timely, accurate and transparent accounting of the City records and to provide a quality level of public relations and customer service to support the efficient delivery of municipal services to the City organization and the public.
Water Utility
In addition to maintaining the financial records of the Water Utility, the Finance Department is responsible for customer service inquiries, customer billings, cash management, financial analysis, and liaison to the Public Works Department.
