In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), and ADA Amendments Act of 2008, the City of Westminster (city) does not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities.
The City of Westminster under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended in 1972, 1978, and 1992, shall not, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, exclude any person from participation in, deny any person the benefits of, or subject any person to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
Purpose
The City of Westminster is committed to ensuring that people with disabilities are able to take part in, and benefit from, the whole range of public programs, services, and activities offered by the city. Further, the city is committed to ensuring that people served shall not be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, age, disability, or national origin.
