• CR&R Franchise Agreement 

The State's solid waste and recycling mandates includes the following:

• AB939 - California Integrated Waste Management Act - Requires at least 50% of jurisdiction's solid waste be diverted from landfills through waste management programs. 
• AB341 - Mandatory Commercial Recycling (MCR) - Requires commercial properties generating 4CY or more of solid waste per week to have a recycling program.

• AB1826 - Mandatory Commercial Organic Recycling (MORe) - Requires commercial properties generating 2CY or more of solid waste per week to have an organic recycling program.

• SB1383 - Short-Lived Climate Pollutant (SLCP) Reduction - Expands AB341 and AB1826 regulations upon all waste generators, including single-family and multi-family residents, self-haulers, and City, to reduce statewide disposal of organic waste by 75% by 2025.
