The Street Maintenance Division maintains City streets in a safe, drivable condition cost effectively through proper resource allocation.

Responsibilities

1. Repair potholes and other patching needs.
2. Repaint crosswalks, legends and red curb and replace/repair regulatory and warning signs.
3. Repair/replace damaged concrete curbs, gutter and sidewalks to help alleviate drainage issues and eliminate height differentials.
4. Maintain the City's catch basins and storm drains.
5. Conduct scheduled sweeping of the streets, arterial sidewalks, and City parking lots.
6. Administer concrete replacement and street sweeping contracts.

Street Sweeping

Street sweeping of residential streets can occur anytime between the hours of 8 am and 1 pm.

Observed City Holidays (no street sweeping):

• New Year’s Day
• President’s Day
• Memorial Day
• Fourth of July
• Labor day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Day after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Day

If your street sweeping day falls on an observed holiday, street sweeping will be skipped for the cycle and take place on your next regularly scheduled day.
