The Cultural Arts Commission is advisory to the City Council.

The Cultural Arts Commission may make recommendations on policies pertaining to art programs, cultural affairs, the cultural arts center and fund development. Give due attention and study to the arts and cultural affairs and the development of facilities.

Encourage individuals, citizen groups and the business community to donate time, funds, and in-kind services for the development and implementation of programs, special events, projects an facilities; and serve as a sounding board to which the City Council may test their plans and ideas.

At least six meetings per year.

Term of office is for a two-year term and shall expire the first day following each regular municipal election.
