The City does not offer grants or loans for first-time homebuyers.

Currently, the City does not have funding available to assist low-income households with home repairs.  Additionally, the City is not accepting names or applications to be put on a wait list.

Should future funding opportunities arise for home repairs, a notice will be posted to the City's website.

The City of Westminster maintains a list of affordable housing which can be found at the link provided below. All affordable housing units are privately managed. Due to an overwhelmingly large interest in affordable housing, most properties may have long waiting lists. To inquire about income qualifications, rents and availability, please contact the property management office.

Tenant Based Rental Assistance Program

The City partners with a non-profit organization to assist individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness achieve self-sustainability via rental assistance and supportive services.  To learn more about eligibility requirements please contact Interval House at admin@intervalhouse.org or (562) 594-9492. 

Orange County Rental Assistance Programs

The Orange County Housing Authority administer's rental assistance programs including the Housing Choice Voucher Program (commonly known as Section 8). Since the demand for housing assistance often exceeds the resources available , long waiting periods are common.  At this time, the Orange County Housing Authority waiting list is closed and therefore, no applications are being accepted.

When the waiting list is open, a notice will be posted to the Orange County Housing Authority's website at www.ochousing.org
