The Traffic Engineering Division provides design and project management for various transportation improvement projects such as Intelligent Transportation Systems, traffic signals, street lights, signing, and striping. This division is responsible for traffic signal timing, maintenance of all traffic control devices and signals, roadway signs, and curb markings (such as red curb, yellow curb, etc.). It also conducts engineering studies of traffic conditions and works with the Police Department and other agencies to improve traffic conditions in the City.
